Thank you for shopping with Birla Law House. We strive to provide the highest quality law publications. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help with a flexible 7-day return or exchange policy.

1. 7-Day Return & Exchange Window

You have exactly 7 days from the date your order is marked as "Delivered" by our courier partner to request a return or an exchange for standard issues. Requests made after the 7-day period will unfortunately not be eligible for processing.

2. Eligibility Criteria for Returns

To ensure fairness, books must be returned in their original condition. A book is only eligible for a return or exchange if:

  • It is completely unused, unmarked, and has no folded pages, highlight marks, or broken spines.

  • It is in its original packaging.

  • You provide the original tax invoice, receipt, or proof of purchase.

  • Damaged/Defective Items: If you receive a book with printing errors, missing pages, or structural damage caused during transit, please notify us within 24 hours of delivery with clear photographs. Upon verification, we will issue a free replacement immediately.

3. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Send an email to birlalawhouse@gmail.com with your Order Number and the details/photos of the book.

  2. Our customer support team will review your request within 24–48 hours.

  3. Once approved, we will schedule a reverse pickup from your shipping address. If reverse pickup is unavailable for your PIN code, we will instruct you on how to ship it back to us.

4. Refund Processing (Prepaid vs. COD Orders)

Once we receive your returned book and inspect its physical condition, your refund will be processed within 5 to 7 working days based on how you paid:

  • For Online Prepaid Orders (UPI, Cards, Netbanking): The refund will be credited directly back to your original payment method via our payment gateway.

  • For Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders: Because we cannot refund cash directly, COD refunds will be issued exclusively via Bank Transfer (NEFT) or Store Credit. You will be required to provide a valid bank account number and IFSC code matching the billing name on the order. Original COD handling/shipping fees are non-refundable.
